Ive read The Four Hour Workweek by Tim Ferris four times now (isn't that going against what the book says to do? lol). And Every time I read it I find out something new. Getting my head around the intricate system for freeing time, and automating income is a heavy job. I guess I'm not as good as Tim at deconstructing complex tasks into simple actionable items.....or am I?
Let's say this: If you tell yourself you're not as good as Tim, you're not as good as Tim (or whoever), but if you tell yourself something like "we are all cut from the same cloth, and Tim is no different than anyone else in this respect" then miraculously you begin to "Get it" and pieces fall into place, and suddenly you are applying the principals in the book, and GASP, they work!
If you tell yourself you can't do something you can't do something. Simple as that. If you tell yourself you can do something, you can do just that. Very Simple.
Most people (not you, you know better) think this is hocus pocus positive smack talk that somebody chants to themselves as they curl up in a corner and wet themselves. When in fact, this method of thinking is just as true today as it was 50 years ago when David Schwartz Wrote, "The magic of thinking Big"
Here's the truth: The quality of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts. Buying into anything outside of your best self is ludicrisy.
