I WAS ON HOLIDAY!
I'm sorry my dear friends, to not updating u anymore for the last three weeks, I've been on holiday.. So let me see, I'll give u a short resume for Wimbledon, Gstaad and Stuttgart...
Wimbledon
Ok, as u might know, there was no surpirse or coup from Nadal, Roger defended his Wimbledontitle and won it the 5th (!) consecutive time! Well done. Even if he showed some problems, he won againt Rafael Nadal (ESP) with 76(7) 46 76(3) 26 62. As I said once, who's loosing TB is not qualified to win, and Nadal had his chance twice. Well done Roger...!
Gstaad
It was great. I've been there for all the tournament and it was fantastic. Ok, Baghdatis, Ferrero and Calleri didn't show up, but we had Monfils, Youzhny, Davydenko, Mathieu and Gasquet. Very good players. The two Russians, unfortunately, lost very early. Also Gasquet and Monfils, just a little bit later.. But Mathieu.. he was great... In my eyes, the best one was Andreas Seppi (ITA) if he had the nerves in the final he would have won in Gstaad his first ATP title, it was even his first ATP final. But he got nervouse and the 'oldie' Mathieu took his chance, did 4 games in a row and won his fourth ATP career titel.
Stuttgart
Almost nothing surprising. Nadal won his 23rd career titel. But he also could have lost this final. Ya, roger was not there, so who could have beaten him? Exactely, an other Swissman =) Stanislas Wawrinka was in the final a big wall, but unfortunalety he did too many unforced errors, and like that u can't win a final, specially not against a Rafael Nadal. But well done Stan, keep on like that. First round he faced Guillermo Canas who retired, maybe this was good for Stan otherwise he might have lost.. who knows, it didn't happen, also not with the title, maybe next year and lets have a look to Kitz now...
Sorry again for the delay... will try to keep you up to date every day...
